For both tourists and locals, the peninsula aerial scenic tour is a box that simply has to be ticked. Doing this in a fixed wing aircraft allows you to see more at a more affordable price. Taking off from the Air du Cap home base at Cape Winelands airport, we head South over Stellenbosch towards Strand and Somerset West. Look out for seals, sharks and penguins, as you head South, making your way over the multi-coloured beach huts of St James beach, trendy Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek and the Simonstown naval base. Get those cameras ready as we prepare for the climax - an orbit above the dramatic Cape Point! Settle into to some snacks and drinks as you enjoy a beautiful coastal cruise, taking in Scarborough, Misty Cliffs and Kommetjie. Noordhoek and Long Beach are next, before the magnificent Chapmans’ Peak, Hout Bay and 12 Apostles mountain range.
